There were further success’s for KRB this week, firstly at Leopardstown, where Slippery Serpent won the qualified riders maiden under Conor Orr for Edward O’Grady and the Friends of Maria syndicate. Edward’s late wife Maria had  set up the syndicate and it was great to see him win. Slippery Serpent was bought by KRB as a foal and he had previously won a bumper and a hurdle.

On Friday in Downpatrick the Quatar Racing owned, Present in Court ran out an easy winner of the bumper for Gordon Elliott. He was bought as a yearling by KRB and this was his first racecourse success.

Also winning for the first time was Wee Tiger in the handicap hurdle at Limerick yesterday for trainer Ray Hackett. He was bought by KRB as a foal for a client who then resold him in the Landrover Sale at Goffs.

There were two KRB purchased winners on Sunday for Paul and Clare Rooney, and nearly a third as Just a Boy was narrowly beaten in the bumper on his debut in Sligo.

Up at Perth Chu Chu Percy won the handicap chase by nine lengths, given a good ride by Ross Chapmen for trainer Alistair Whillans. This was third success since being bought by KRB at Ascot horses in training sale.

At Stratford One For Billy won the handicap chase under top weight for the in form duo of Dan and Harry Skelton. This was his first success over fences having previously won two hurdles. One For Billy was bought by KRB as a store.
