There was plenty of racing last week with the Galway festival, Glorious Goodwood and a couple of days at Perth. KRB purchases ran very well all week. One For Billy won the novice chase at Perth for Paul and Clare Rooney in good style under Harry Skelton for brother Dan. He looks a very progressive horse over fences for connections. Joe and Pat Sloan had Flaxen Flare finish second in the feature handicap chase at Perth, and Count Simon ran a very good race to be second at Galway in a novice hurdle both trained by Gordon Elliott, who won the Galway Plate on Wednesday with Clarcam.

At Goodwood Getchagetchagetcha ran a good race to be fourth in the Quatar Vintage Stakes ( Group 2) for the Rooneys. The Clive Cox trained colt was bought by KRB as a yearling and looks an exciting horse for the future.

The week finished well with Castlehume following up his previous win at Bellewstown to win the handicap hurdle easily on the final day at Galway. KRB purchased him as a store for long time clients the Castlehume syndicate. The Noel Meade trained gelding looks like he has plenty of fun days ahead of him.
