Further Graded and Black Type success for KRB

If The Cap Fits became the latest black type winner for KRB. After his good run when second in the Elite Hurdle ( Grade 2) at Wincanton, he followed up a fortnight later to win the Coral Hurdle ( Grade 2) at Ascot. Harry Fry and owners Paul and Clare Rooney have an exciting horse for the season ahead.

Lakeview Lad ran out an easy winner on his seasonal debut in the BetVictor Rehearsal Chase ( Listed) at Newcastle yesterday, for Nick Alexander in the colours of Trevor Hemmings. This was his seventh success since being purchased by KRB off Mags Mullins after finishing third in a Punchestown bumper.

Coeur Sublime stepped up on his debut win over hurdles to be beaten a short head into second in the Baroneracing.com Juvenile hurdle ( Grade 3). He looks a very exciting horse for Chris Jones for the months ahead.

Fairway Freddy followed up on his Wincanton win to score again under Rex Dingle at Kempton for Nick Gifford and the New Gold Team. He is clearly a horse on the upgrade for connections.

Imperial Acolyte became the latest winner for Imperial Racing by winning the novice hurdle at Wetherby on his debut over hurdles for Nigel Twiston Davis. He was bought as a store by KRB for the owners who have some exciting horses to look forward to this season.

On the same card at Wetherby,  Shantewe won the bumper in good style  on her debut for Jamie Snowden and the Sheep as a Lamb syndicate. She was bought privately by KRB as a foal.

At Limerick on Friday Plan of Attack won the handicap hurdle easily under Barry O’Neill for owner Alan Halsall and trainer Henry de Bromhead. Plan of Attack was bought by KRB after winning his point to point for the Crawford’s.

Bang On became the latest KRB store purchase to win, by staying on strongly to win the novice hurdle at Taunton  for Jeremy Scott and owners Cash For Honours.

Calavigny has been a bit frustrating for connections by being placed on many occasions, but today it came right as he came from a long way back to stay on under a determined ride from Lucy Alexander to win for her father Nick, to make it a great weekend for them after Lakeview Lad’s big win yesterday. In winning today he collected a decent pot of over £20,000. He was bought by KRB as a store.

Lets hope this great run of results continue in the weeks ahead for KRB.
