It was a great week of racing at the Cheltenham Festival and KRB managed to buy another winner, Croco Bay. This was the ninth Festival winner bought by KRB so it has been a happy hunting ground for them.

Croco Bay won the Johnny Henderson Grand Annual H’Cap Chase ( Grade 3) for Ben Case, given a super ride by Kielan Woods. This was a tremendous achievement by Ben to get the horse back to full fitness having not run since July, and a gutsy display by the horse to win the race as a twelve year old having been third and fifth before in the same race in the past. The winner is owned by Lady Jane Grosvenor who has been a great supporter of Ben’s over the years.

KRB had twelve runners in all at the Festival and they all ran with credit. Coeur Sublime ran a super race to be second in the JCB Triumph Hurdle ( Grade 1 ) for Chris Jones and trainer Gordon Elliott. He is a very exciting horse to look forward to in the future.

Lake View Lad continued his progression to be a staying on third in the Ultima H’Cap Chase ( Grade 3) for Nick Alexander. He will probably now go to the Grand National.

Crievehill ran a super race under Zac Baker to be fourth in the Kim Muir for Highclere Racing and Nigel Twiston- Davis.

Jarob with the ground against him still ran a good race to be fifth in the Cross Country for Chris Jones and Gearoid O’Loughlin to the legend Tiger Roll.

Yesterday the Arthur Moore trained Fag An Bealach won the bumper easily on her debut by fifteen lengths at Down Royal. She also picked up the 5k ITBA bonus for her owners who are longtime clients of Arthur’s. She was bought by KRB as a foal.

This morning at Sha Tin, Hong Kong, Sunny Speed ( Crack On Crack On) ran a fantastic race to be only beaten just over a length to be third in the BMW Hong Kong Derby. He was purchased by KRB at Goresbridge Breeze Up, and then won three races in the UK for Clive Cox before being sold to continue his career in Hong Kong.
