The good run of results has continued for KRB in the last couple of weeks under both codes. Over the jumps past Cheltenham Festival winner Flaxen Flare won at Killarney for Joe and Pat Sloan and trainer Gordon Elliott. It was great to see him back in the winners enclosure. Templepark won the novice handicap chase at Kempton with a polished round of jumping under Max Kendrick for his mother Carolyn and trainer Ben Case.
At Uttoxeter Fortified Bay defied a long absence to make all and win the maiden hurdle for Paul and Clare Rooney and Jennie Candlish under a good ride from Sean Quinlan.
On the flat there was another black type winner for KRB with Good Vibes winning the Listed Marygate Stakes at York for Paul and Clare Rooney and trainer David Evans, who stated she was the best he’s ever trained. Good Vibes will now go to Royal Ascot for the Queen Mary.
Another impressive winner for the Rooneys was I Could Do Better who won easily by seven lengths yesterday at Carlisle for in form trainer Keith Dalgleish. I Could Do Better has now won both his races and looks a very exciting horse for the rest of the season. He was bought by KRB at last years Goresbridge Breeze Up Sale.
A KRB yearling purchase Wind In My Sails won for the fifth time for trainer Ed De Giles and owner John Manser at Newbury.
KRB have a busy week ahead with Goffs Uk sales and then onto the Breeze Up Sale at Tattersalls Ireland.
