It has been a great spell of results for KRB with plenty more winners in the last couple of weeks under both codes.
Present Ranger won again for the Skeltons by taking the novice hurdle at Warwick. Also winning for the Skeltons was Nimby who won the maiden hurdle at Huntingdon in the Paul and Clare Rooney colours. Also winning for the Rooneys was Who’s My Jockey who stayed on strongly to win the Beginners Chase at Hexham for Philip Hobbs. This was his fifth win since being bought by KRB as a store.
Onthefrontfoot made all to win the novice hurdle at Cartmel for Donald McCain and Brian Hughes. He was bought as a foal by KRB.
Savina was bought as a yearling by KRB and she won the bumper at Tramore for Willie and Patrick Mullins. Count Simon has been in great form and made it three wins in a row by jumping super on his chase debut under Jack Kennedy at Punchestown. Trained by Gordon Elliott for Joe and Pat Sloan, Count Simon was bought at Tattersalls Horse in training sale as a three year old.
The good flat results continue for KRB,with Roar winning at Carlisle for Ed De Giles for John Basquill and Kristian Strangeway. He was bought by KRB as a yearling. Also bought as a yearling was Mind The Crack, who won easily at Lingfield and ten days later followed up at Haydock for Paul and Clare Rooney and trainer Mark Johnston. He looks a very promising horse for the remainder of the season, as does Getchagetchagetcha. He won the conditions race at Leicester also for the Rooneys and trained by Clive Cox. He appreciated the step up in trip and the softer ground and quickened up to win nicely.
KRB were busy this week at the Goffs Land Rover sale buying six horses, and they wish their clients the best of luck with them in the future.
