Cedarwood Road looked an exciting prospect when winning his maiden hurdle at Leopardstown at Christmas, and he confirmed that today by getting up to win on the line to take the Listed Novice Hurdle at Naas for owner Chris Jones, his young trainer Gearoid O’Loughlin and given a lovely ride by Davy Russell. Cedarwood Wood was bought by KRB as a store in the Derby Sale from Trickledown Stud. Chris has a few runners this coming week at Cheltenham with Coeur Sublime running in the Champion Hurdle on Tuesday.

Other recent KRB purchases to win were Dancing Feet winning the auction maiden at Wolverhampton in good style for Archie Watson, ridden by Holly Doyle. She was bought by KRB as a yearling.

Another winner at Wolverhampton was Roar who was winning for the fourth time since being bought by KRB as a yearling, when getting up under David Bass in the jumpers bumper for trainer Ed De Giles.
